About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Product Manager / Technical Project Manager with at least 15 years of professional experience leading complex technology initiatives, managing product development lifecycles, and coordinating cross-functional engineering teams.

The ideal candidate combines strong product management capabilities with hands-on technical project leadership. You should be comfortable translating business objectives into product requirements, working with software architects and engineers, managing delivery roadmaps, and ensuring that products are delivered with high quality, on schedule, and aligned with business goals.

You will work closely with leadership, engineering, architecture, design, and go-to-market teams to drive product development from requirements and planning through execution, release, and continuous improvement.

Experience with enterprise SaaS, cloud platforms, AI/ML products, or cybersecurity solutions is highly desirable.

Key responsibilities

Product management

  • Own product planning, roadmaps, feature prioritization, and release planning.
  • Translate business objectives and customer needs into product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and product specifications.
  • Develop and maintain product requirement documents (PRDs), business requirements documents (BRDs), and functional specifications.
  • Collaborate with architects and engineering teams to define product capabilities, technical dependencies, and implementation priorities.
  • Manage the product backlog and prioritize features based on customer value, business impact, technical feasibility, and risk.
  • Coordinate product releases, feature validation, launch readiness, and post-release improvements.
  • Gather feedback from stakeholders and users and translate it into actionable product enhancements.

Technical project management

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex software and cloud technology projects.
  • Develop project plans, milestones, schedules, resource plans, and delivery commitments.
  • Manage dependencies, risks, issues, scope changes, and cross-team coordination.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Track project progress, identify delivery bottlenecks, and communicate status to executive stakeholders.
  • Ensure engineering deliverables meet agreed requirements, quality standards, and acceptance criteria.
  • Coordinate release management, testing, UAT, deployment readiness, and production handover.

Technical leadership and collaboration

  • Work closely with software engineers, cloud architects, DevOps engineers, AI/ML engineers, and security specialists.
  • Understand technical architecture, APIs, integrations, cloud infrastructure, data flows, and system dependencies sufficiently to support informed product and delivery decisions.
  • Review technical designs and identify gaps, dependencies, risks, and implementation considerations.
  • Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Use AI-assisted development and productivity tools where appropriate to accelerate requirements, documentation, planning, and delivery.

Product launch and continuous improvement

  • Coordinate product launch plans, release notes, documentation, and stakeholder communications.
  • Establish measurable product and delivery KPIs.
  • Monitor adoption, customer feedback, feature usage, and product quality.
  • Drive continuous improvement across product management, engineering execution, and delivery processes.

Required qualifications

  • 15+ years of professional experience in technical project management, product management, software delivery, or a combination of these disciplines.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex software development or enterprise technology initiatives from planning through delivery.
  • Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, roadmaps, requirements engineering, backlog management, and release planning.
  • Proven experience working with engineering teams, software architects, and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and practical experience managing iterative software delivery.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or equivalent project and product management platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive execution in a fast-paced startup or technology environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership, work independently, and deliver measurable results.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with enterprise SaaS products or cloud-native applications.
  • Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience with AI/ML, generative AI, LLM-based applications, or enterprise AI platforms.
  • Familiarity with APIs, microservices, CI/CD, cloud security, and enterprise system integrations.
  • Experience with product analytics, customer discovery, and go-to-market planning.
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), or similar certifications are a plus.
  • Experience working with distributed engineering teams across multiple time zones.
